Steering Committee
A 16-member steering committee will meet throughout the process for the Comprehensive Plan and LCI Plan Updates. The committee will be instrumental in shaping the final plans and helping to build implementation support.

Steering Committee Meeting 1 (March 7, 2023)
The planning team introduced the purpose and scope of the plans being updated. The committee participated in input activities to validate the priorities from the 2040 Comprehensive Plan and 2011 Town Center LCI Plan. The committee also provided ideas and feedback on the planning team's public engagement approach. The meeting recording and presentation can be reviewed below.​
Steering Committee Meeting 2 (May 9, 2023)
The planning team provided project and engagement updates as well as highlights from the existing conditions assessment. The committee provided input on EV charging, areas of change, transportation priorities, and other opportunities applicable to Norcross and/or specific to the Town Center area.

Steering Committee Meeting 3 (August 8, 2023)
The planning team provided project and engagement updates as well as highlights from the real estate market assessment. The committee provided input on land use policy and boundary updates to the Character Areas on the Future Development Map.

Steering Committee Meeting 4 (October 10, 2023)
The planning team introduced the draft goals, priority needs and opportunities, policies, and actions for the Comprehensive Plan, as well as the initial ranked project list for the Town Center LCI Plan. The committee provided input that will shape the updates to the Future Development Map, Community Work Program, and LCI Implementation Plan.
